Tight Mix Blog was created to serve the communities of today's crazy music industry, which is why I am now accepting (and encouraging) advertisements from anyone with a passion for music. Since ads are new to this blog, you can be sure the rates are super-ridiculously-affordable.

I've been using Google Adsense for a short while, and it works just fine, but I feel like it's just not enough. It's a cop out, really. I want to serve ads by people and companies that readers will actually care about and find valuable.

Reader Psychographics

The reader base of this blog is comprised mainly of independent musicians, music industry hustlers (and thinkers), independent music fans, small business owners, web designers, and anybody else with an enormous passion for music and the business strategies supporting it.

Readers are probably more likely to use their disposable income to support music in some way (purchasing an album, concert tickets, funding a recording project, etc). They are more likely to purchase music directly from a musician than from a 3rd-party like iTunes, knowing that most of their purchase will end up in the musician's pocket, and help support future endeavors by that musician.

Also, since non-native browsers Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome are the top two browsers used to visit this blog, this might indicate that readers are a bit more web-savvy than the average user.
