Featured Album this Week (12/27/10): “Rebels of the Frontline EP” by Left Step Band
This week’s featured album is a short, sweet, three-song EP that danced it’s way into my inbox last week. I’ve been on an indie rock kick for some time now, so I’m going to switch it up and review something a little different.
Left Step Band is a London-based four piece playing an eclectic stampede of hip-hop, funk, and ska. Their latest EP, “Rebels of the Frontline” is a fun project that is sure to help you forget how cold and miserable the winter can be.
The band is also a member of Strummerville, a charity set up by the friends and family of Joe Strummer, that aims to create new opportunities for aspiring musicians.
