Ice Cube and The Roots Cover “Straight Outta Compton” at Late Night with Jimmy Fallon [VIDEO]

I came across this yesterday over at the A.V. Club and absolutely had to post it for you guys to check out. This is a video of The Roots and Ice Cube doing an incredible cover of N.W.A’s “Straight Outta Compton.” In case you didn’t know, The Roots are now the house band for the talk show Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Questlove and his percussion buddy next to him (no idea who it is) create a MASSIVE drum sound. Guitarist Captain Kirk Douglas fills in the part where Eazy-E used to rap, and Black Thought picked up the slack for Ren.

@questlove posted this video on Twitter yesterday, and it has surprisingly awesome sound quality. This is how a cover is done, SON!
