The Embracers – “City Lights” (Live) [VIDEO]
The Embracers are an excellent band from the northern New Jersey/NYC area, and man, they can rock the hell out of a gig. They bring elements of bluegrass, folk, and indie rock together to create songs that are catchy as hell, and are hard not to love.
Also, the lead singer gives off a kind of Bob Dylan vibe, both in sound and appearance, which is what intrigued me in the first place. My band played a gig with them a while back in NYC, and we were all stunned after watching their set, which happened to be right before ours. They are a tough act to follow.
